The Thin Line Between Compliment and Insult

Why is it that whenever someone says that i look like a particular character in a movie it’s always that of a drug dealer, gangster, or some kind of petty thug? Yeah I know I have dark skin and locks but honestly when was the last time you saw a thug wear a turtleneck? C”mon people, Imma need you to get it together.

  1. LOL. i hate confusing compliments..like when the person is trying to say something nice but does want to directly…something like when you wear something they go “it looks good’ not ‘it looks good on you’ or ‘you look good’ lol.

    • Lol. I think I might be a little guilty of that. As of late I’ve decided to be more courageous with my compliments and just tell the person exactly how I feel. Just curious eva626 how did you stumble upon this humble little blog of mine?
