Babbling Brook

I think
To live in a park might be nice
One full of pigeons
And sunny, temperate conditions
There’d be other isms there too
I suppose
Mammals, insects, aves, and toads
no angels of the rich telling us what to do
Just lazy days listening to the children play
And when Sky rained
Rain would still pour
Only difference is
We’d be more inclined to listen
to the pitter-patters exploding
Against, head, shoulders, thighs and feet,
Reminding us of old times
Oceans, gills, and floppy feet


Am i wrong?...Am i?..And the church said
